Overview of IMiS

Within SRC Computers we started the development of our own (sub)system for Document Imaging back in 1997.

Our decision was based on several years of experience that we already had on some similar systems and of course, with LN:DI family of products (Lotus Notes Document Imaging). We got the "Lotus Euro Beacon Award 1997" for the project "Imaging in Notes environment" on behalf of the Slovenian Governmental Institutions.

IMiS runs in Lotus Notes environment, as well as, in any of the other Windows-based applications. We are able to provide migration from LN:DI PRO/LIV to IMiS/Scan (or IMiS/View) while users can still use LN:DI MSS! You can also use LN:DI MSS (or IMiS/ARC) as an archiving server for incoming faxes. Using our IMiS/Migrator, it's also possible to replace LN:DI MSS with our IMiS/ARC without almost any down-time.

All IMiS modules are 32-bits Windows applications, written with Delphi, based on Pixel Translations Toolkit and running on W95/98/2000/XP or NT workstations (IMiS/ARC runs on Linux only).

  • IMiS/Net (access to images via Internet browser)
  • IMiS/Storage Connector
