Thumbnails
Thumbnails pane
You can set the default view state of thumbnails on General category of the Preferences dialog (see View category for more details). Thumbnails can be hidden while working with IMiS client by unchecking Thumbnails option from the Tools menu (see Menu and toolbars for more details) or popup menu on thumbnails pane or page view (see Popup menus for more details). You can set the size of the thumbnails from the Tools menu (see Menu and toolbars for more details) or with thumbnails pane popup menu (see Popup menus for more details). There are four predefined sizes available (tiny, small, medium and large):
Using thumbnails
You can use thumbnails to go to the page you want to see. When in edit mode, you can select one or more thumbnails and move them by dragging them with left mouse button inside the thumbnails pane. They are placed according to the cursor position. You can delete one or more selected thumbnails. Move and/or delete operations work if you have Move pages and/or Delete pages permissions respectively (see Restrictions Settings for more details). You can also cut or copy selected page(s) to clipboard, but you need the Copy image to clipboard permission to do so (see Restrictions Settings for more details). Pages (or bitmap images) from clipboard can be pasted into documents and are placed before or after the selected thumbnail according to the cursor position. Again, you need Create new pages permission (see Restrictions Settings for more details).
