Case:

This release is a cumulative update that includes functionality improvements and fixes. IMiS/OCR Server administrator can now limit the size of the document that can be processed by the server, license volume limits are being checked so that server automatically stops processing if there are not enough available pages/characters by license. This release resolves the server on Exit error when running as service in the Interactive Services Detection desktop on Windows Vista or above.

Description:

What's new:
* processing limit preference to process only documents with the number of pages less than or equal to the limit
* OCR engine unsupported gray 4bit & 8bit, palette 4bit & 8bit and color formats are now converted to TIFF LZW, not TIFF Packbits (applies to 8.6.1412, 8.9.1412, 8.10.1412)
* documents processed into empty document in Notes Application Job are considered a failure and no result is passed forward
* attachment records are now by default marked with non empty error message (empty message means they were successfully processed)
* license volume check: server stops processing if not enough available pages/characters by license (applies to 8.6.1412, 8.9.1412, 8.10.1412)
* sending a mail to administrator if license volume error occurs
* removing source objects from IMiS/ARC is now done after Lotus Notes document save
* logging job name also in "Processing »%s« job request: ..." in ProcessDocument and ProcessMail methods
* logging input file format in "Processing object / attachment: '%s'; Format: '%s' ..." in ProcessDocument and ProcessMail methods
* logging page count after OCR prepare stage
* logging of imisconv.dll error messages (not just error code)
* logging of known input file formats either based on image file format header bytes or file extension (TIFF, PFD, JPEG, BMP...)
* logging IMiS/OCR server version on start
* ProcessDocument method saves IMiSOCRServerStatus to -1 on exception when updating LN document

Bugfixes:
* color image-only PDF converted to TIFF Packbits fails with "Error: The image file C:\Windows\TEMP\~IMB18.tmp is corrupt" (TIFF Packbits are not supported in FRE6) (applies to 8.6.1412)
* OCR engine temporary files not deleted (applies to 8.10.1412)
* processing request counter was always 1 no matter how many attachments or objects were found.
* EventRecord was written to the statistic database only on success in Notes Mailbox job
* "Not enough storage is available to complete this operation." addressed with FREngine.CreateImageDocumentsInMemory property (applies to 8.9.1412, 8.10.1412)
* clock in lower right corner on status bar is partially hidden in Windows 7
* document counter in ActionCheckAndProcessExecute method now starts with 1 (not 0)
* "Error trying to store OCR result" error messages now include imisweb.dll error message
* request counter on MailBox job now starts with 1
* "ERROR msg: Cannot remove shell notification icon" on Exit when running as service in the Interactive Services Detection desktop on Windows Vista or above (caused by SysTrayIcon.Visible := False; in TMainDlg.FormClose method)
* status bar panels when running as service in Interactive Services Detection desktop on Window Vista and above fixed
* SendDeniedMail method if send deny mail enabled and file name not specified fixed
* CreateTextLanguage method uses first IPredefinedLanguage if ILanguageDatabase cannot be created (applies to 8.5.1412, 8.6.1412, 8.9.1412, 8.10.1412)

- Intel® Pentium 4 processor 1GHz (Intel® multicore 1,6GHz processor or more recommended)
- USB 2.0 port for hardware protection key
- 1GB RAM (2GB or more recommended)
- 1GB disk space or more recommended
- Using OCR Server with Domino infrastructure (Notes Mailbox & Notes Application job): minimum IBM Lotus Notes Client version 5.0.3 / 6.5.3 / 7.0.0 / 8.0 / 8.5 (NOT SUPPORTED: Versions 6.0.1, 6.0.2, 6.0.3, 6.5.0, 6.5.1, 6.5.2); recommended IBM Lotus Notes Client version 5.0.13 / 6.5.6 / 7.0.4 / 8.0.2 / 8.5.3 (Basic or Full)
* OS supported with limitations (UAC needs to be disabled)
