IMiS/OCR Client (discontinued)

IMiS/OCR Client is not stand-alone product anymore, it is now integrated into IMiS/Scan++ and IMiS/View++ clients.

Beside using it through IMiS/Scan++ or IMiS/View++ client, IMiS/OCR Client is used in two more cases:

IMiS/OCR Client can used in IMiS enabled Lotus Notes databases. IMiS/OCR Client is able to process images that are stored on any storage server or somewhere on file system. Under IMiS/Menu button, there are two OCR related functions: OCR object and OCR attachment (see OCR object and OCR attachment for more details). When IMiS/OCR Client gets loaded, you can change settings for the recognition and perform OCR using Recognize button (see screenshots below). If you were initially in the Edit mode you will get the results in desired format back to Notes document, otherwise it will be stored on file system to the selected path.
IMiS/OCR Client can also be used manually by running IMiSOCRClient.exe file or by launching appropriate shortcut from Start/Programs menu. IMiS/OCR Client is ODMA enabled application, so user can load images from ODMA server or file system.

IMPORTANT: IMiS/OCR client can export recognition result also in XML format but special engine licence with additional licence fee is needed. If you need it you have to specify XML export option when ordering IMiS/Scan++ or IMiS/View ++.
