IMiS Design Elements

As a first step we recommend that you copy Notes databases from CD to data folder of Notes Client on your local computer. You should switch off read-only flag on all copied databases. After that you have to sign all design elements in these databases with your ID.

‘IMiS design’ database (imisdsgn.ntf)

This database (imisdsgn.ntf) contains all necessary design elements to be used in every Lotus Notes database that uses IMiS. These elements are:

All the elements should be copied from imisdsgn.ntf into design of the target Lotus Notes database. IMiS Client subform should be inserted in every form that should contain IMiS objects. This subform is normally hidden (in imisdsgn.ntf), but for demo purposes it can be left unhidden and editable.

IMPORTANT: IMiSGlobSprem and IMiSBackEnd script libraries have hidden design, so do not try to edit and save it, because the code will be lost!
