Instructions for IMiS/iDMS application installation with MobileIron on iOS devices.
Description:
Installation steps
Step 1: Install IMiS/iDMS and MobileIron application from Apple store.
Step 2: Open IMiS/iDMS application. It automatically opens MobileIron application.
Step 3: Get MobileIron configuration with profile parameters from your administrator and install new configuration on device.
If configuration is properly installed, start using IMiS/iDMS application.
If MobileIron configuration is NOT properly installed, check Steps 4 -8.
Step 4: Open MobileIron and select »Settings«.
Step 5: Select »Secure Apps« and check if IMiS/iDMS with green checker appears in the »Secure apps« section.
If IMiS/iDMS does NOT appear, you didn't get appropriate configuration.
If IMiS/iDMS appears without green checker means, that configuration is not installed properly.
Follow Step 6 in this case.
If IMiS/iDMS appears with green checker, select IMiS/iDMS application from the list and follow Step 7.
Step 6: Select »Check for updates« and select »Re-Enroll Device«. Re-enroll device with the MobileIron server and install updated configuration profiles.
After the installation follow Step 5. If green checker still doesn’t appear, contact your MobileIron administrator.
Step 7: “Authorization status” must be set to “Authorized”. If case it is NOT, close (dismiss) the IMiS/iDMS application and open it again.
“Configuration Count” must be higher than 0. In case it is NOT, profile parameters are not properly installed on device. Follow Step 8 in this case.
If “Authorization status” is set to “Authorized” and “Configuration Count” is higher than 0, return to your IMiS/iDMS application.
Step 8: Select »Check for Updates« and chose »Force Device Check-In«.
Installation updates the status of device on MobleIron server.
After the installation follow Step 7 and check again if “Configuration Count” is higher than 0.
If it is still 0, »Re-Enroll Device« as described in Step 6 or contact your MobileIron administrator.
