Audit Trail (Requires IMiS/ARChive)

With release 7.5 you can now enable Audit Logging in your Lotus Notes applications. The system logs any actions performed on any archive content. Server side configuration is required (see IMiS/ARC configuration manual). You can define custom audit log messages for any Lotus Notes application which uses IMiS Design elements.

Audit messages are enabled by checking option "Use Audit Trail Messages". Users will be asked to provide a reason why they want to access archive content in selected way. If you ant only predefined messages to be used leave "Allow Custom Messages" unchecked. If you want users to enter their own messages besides offering them a predefined set check this option.

When a user wants to use any function which requires access to IMiS/ARChive archived content a dialog box appears which gives the user the option of choosing a message which best describes the reason why access is required.

Empty messages are not allowed and if provided they cancel the action.
