Miscellaneous settings

This feature can be set in Miscellaneous section in IMiS Setup document.

IMiS language defines IMiS Notes interface language. See Customize interface messages to your native language for details how to customize IMiS Notes interface messages to your local language.

Predefined object descriptions are separated by new line. They are used in Scan or Import process as list of predefined descriptions that can be selected by user. If all objects have the same description than scan users do not need to get dialog for object description. In that case select Use default (no dialog) check box and enter appropriate default value for object description.

Annottations handling (merging annotations)

Object can be exported in different ways: exported to file system, send by email, send for OCR or PDF,... In previous releases all annotations have been saved as separate layer in TIF image. With Merge while exporting flag on, annotations will become part of the imagebased security setting in Restriction section (see Restrictions Settings for details on restrictions). See picture below as example:
