Scanning

When you set up the profile you can start batch scanning. IMiS/BatchScan supports scanners with ADF (Automatic Document Feeder). Put a stack of pages in the scanner's ADF and click the Start batch command from Scan menu or toolbar button. IMiS/BatchScan automatically creates files according to the profile's separator (see General settings for more details) and increments the file counter. If you defined profile's contents (see Contents settings for more details) you will need to enter and save the contents information for every scanned document in the Contents dialog while scanning. To cancel the scanning process click Stop batch command from Scan menu or toolbar button. Don't forget to save the profile after the scanning is done. (see Saving profile for more details)

If a document with the same file name exists when batch scanning a Warning dialog appears asking you if you want to overwrite that document. There are five options available. You can select Yes to overwrite the existing document or No to skip to the next scanned document name with the counter increased by 1. Yes to All will overwrite current and all other existing documents that have the same names as the scanned documents without showing the Warning dialog. Choose No to All to skip to the first available scanned document name on current and all other existing documents that have the same names as the scanned documents and continue scanning. You can also select Cancel to cancel batch scanning.
