IMiS/ICR Client settings

IMiS/ICR Client software has to be installed on workstation and all necessary design elements has to be copied to target Domino database (see installation document for more details).

IMiS/ICR client needs to know the location of batch definition file (which also means template(s) definition) and pairs between recognized fields and Notes/Domino fields. Both information are logically connected to Notes form and that is why we decided to put this info in profile documents with form name as profile document KEY.

Every target database may contain more than one profile for ICR settings, depending on number of Notes forms that may contain recognized data. ICR settings profiles are created, edited and deleted using agents:

IMPORTANT: These 3 agents require Lotus Notes client R5 or higher.

Picture below shows IMiS/ICR client settings in IMiS ICR parameters profile document:

First user has to select batch definition file. File can be easily selected browsing file system. If there is more than one IMiS/ICR client (or IMiS/ICR Server) workstation than it is recommended to have only one instance of batch definition file on file server. In this case all IMiS ICR workstations would use the same batch file.

Field pairs are created using New, Edit and Delete button. Form fields are case-sensitive, so it should be entered with great care. If IMiS/ICR Server is installed and already configured on the same machine, than field pairs can be retrieved from ICR Server settings in registry. Just select appropriate batch file and click on Get from ICR server button.
