PDF format

PDF format section provides tuning parameters of recognized text export in PDF format.



Save mode: this option determines the mode in which PDF export is saved in the file (default: Text under the page image)
Options:
Retain text and background color: if selected this option specifies if original colors of text and background are retained during export of the recognized text in PDF format. It is only usable when the Save mode property is Text and pictures only otherwise the value of this property is ignored (default: Unchecked)

Replace uncertain words with images: if selected this option specifies if uncertainly recognized words will be replaced with their images during export in PDF format. You may use this property when Save mode property is Text and pictures only or Text over the page image otherwise the value of this property is ignored (default: Unchecked)

Picture format: specifies the image format to be used during export to a PDF file with embedded pictures
Options for binary pictures (default: CCITT4): Options for gray pictures (default: JPEG Gray): Options for color pictures (default: JPEG Color):
Picture resolution: stores the value of picture resolution (dpi) that is used for exporting pictures for PDF format (default: 200)

JPEG quality: stores the value of the JPEG quality for color pictures saved in HTML format in percent (default: 50)
