User access type

Most of the users access IMiS objects with IMiS client if Notes client is used for Domino applications. But even if users desktop machines have WIN32 operating systems, IMiS/Net access is also allowed from Notes Client*. In that case after IMiS object is selected, Web browser is loaded and image is accessed through IMiS/Net modul on Domino server.

In User access type section, administrator can select default access type and also list of users that use alternative access. From release V4 and higher groups are also allowed in Exceptional users list. We recommend not to use more then 5 groups in this list because of preformance issues.

* IMPORTANT: User still has to be activated in IMiS Administration database so IMiS/View licence has to be purchased for this mode.
