SAP
SAP target type was introduced in version 6.1.701. It allows users to import scanned images to SAP system.
- First we need to select access type to SAP system. 2 options are direct access or load balancing
- Second screen requests system info input but it depends on selection of access type.
In case of direct access, user has to enter application server address and system info:
In case of load balancing access system info requires message server address and service, R/3 system name and group name:
- Third step requires user info. It is important that this user has enough rights to import documents in SAP.
- Next screen allows user to enter information about content repository for imported objects. Content repository is defined with 2 characters long ID.
- SAP document definition table is important for imported objects to be correctlly classified. Document class defines application or viewer which will open selected document/object.
- Last screen requires info about IMiS/ARC storage server which is currentlly the only allowed storage server. Required data is host name, TCP/IP communication port and IMiS/ARC profile.
