Documents

IMiS/Batchscan allows you to save, move or delete selected documents.

Save document as

You can make a copy of a selected scanned document to a desired folder with a Save As dialog. Select a document in the scanned documents list and use Save as... command in the Document menu or scanned documents popup menu. In a Save As dialog browse to a desired folder and change the file name to an appropriate one. Save as... command is enabled only when one document is selected.

Move documents

You can move selected scanned documents to a desired folder. Select documents in the scanned documents list and use Move command in the Document menu or scanned documents popup menu. If the profile was saved before the move operation there no need to save the profile, since every moved document is also automaticaly removed from the profile document. Move operation moves one file at a time in backward order.

If a document with the same name is found in the destination folder, a Warning dialog appears asking you if you want to overwrite that document. There are four options available. You can select Yes to overwrite the destination document or No to skip the move of the selected scanned document. Yes to All will overwrite current and all other destination documents with same names as moving scanned documents without showing the Warning dialog. You can select Cancel to cancel the move operation. Note that cancel does not affect already moved documents. They are permanently removed from the profile document.

Delete documents

You can delete selected scanned documents. Select documents in the scanned documents list and use Delete command in the Document menu or scanned documents popup menu. A Warning dialog appears asking you if you really want to delete selected documents. You can cancel delete operation with the Cancel button or proceed with the OK button. Every deleted document is also automaticaly removed from the profile document, so there no need to save the profile document if the profile was already saved before the delete operation.
