• Initial beta 1 version of IMiS/ARChive Storage Server for Microsoft .NET 2.0, 3.5 or 4.0 is available for business partners and selected clients testing.
• Incorporates all features of its Linux sibling which were developed over the years of development on Linux code stream with exception of Administration module which will be added in the near future.
• Runs on Microsoft .NET 2.0, 3.5 or 4.0 platform on both 32bit and 64bit environment.
• Initial GA release is scheduled for H1/2013.

• New: Option of setting a set of regional settings under which IMiS/ARChive is converting, sorting and collating characters outside of US-ASCII code page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ASCII). This setting can be different than system-wide setting. This setting is crucial for proper server and audit log function.
• New: Detection of Audit logging configuration changes. Whenever a Audit log config parameter changes, the change is recorded in an encrypted immutable database store. With this facility, auditor can review if system administrator changed the settings for unauthorised object operation and than reverted the parameter back to its initial value.

• New: Advanced user session authentication with options of transmitting user session contextual information
• New: Encrypted session authentication using proprietary HMAC-like Challenge-Response protocol Pre Shared keys. Encryption is done through variable crypto algorithm, cryptographic mode and key lengths.
• New: Fixed setting of traffic encryption can now be optionally enabled if required by the server or requested by the client.
• New: New type of user session is introduced: "Auditor" type which has separate authentication dataset and is able to execute audit log queries. Plain User sessions are prevented from executing such requests.

• New: Expanded capability of archiving new file formats (Office Open XML, Open Document Format, new compressed formats (RAR, 7-ZIP, itd), SAP generic content type, etc.)
