Scanner settings

Scanner settings are only available in IMiS/Scan versions. After you select the scanner (see Scanner selection for more details) that you will be using, you should also set appropriate scanner settings. Right mouse click on the IMiS icon (

) located in system tray and click on the Scanner settings... command to get the Scanner settings dialog. Note that the Scanner settings... command is also available from the Scan menu and as a toolbar button on the client window.

Scanner settings

From the Scanner settings dialog you can set several different scanner settings, like paper size, resolution, brightness and contrast. Use More button to get factory scanner settings dialog box. If none is available, the More button is disabled. Use Defaults button to reset scanner settings to default values.

Duplex scanning

Duplex option is enabled only with scanner that supports duplex scanning. Select Duplex option to scan both front and back sides of a document at the same time. IMiS/Scan also supports duplex scanning on simplex scanners. In such case, just set Separate scanning of odd and even pages option on the Scanner settings dialog. First scan one side papers, then turn over the stack and scan again. IMiS/Scan will automatically insert pages at appropriate positions in the document.
