View category
View category of the Preferences dialog contains some useful view settings.
In the View options group box you can:
- set view settings like scale, rotation or show grays located in View menu, to apply to all pages in a document, not only to the current page.
- set binary images to scale to grayscale. Images are much easier to read when black and white image content is converted into shades of gray.
- show document's pages as thumbnails. You can show/hide thumbnails with the Thumbnails located in Tools menu or popup menu on thumbnails pane or page view.
- show even thumbnails per row. Useful when viewing documents that were scanned in duplex mode (see Scanner settings).
- set view position on page. Viewing position is always set on the same part of page even if you select different page
- set the region selection to remain visible when selecting a different page
- large toolbar icons will be shown
In the Page scale group box you can select default page scale for new or opened document.
In the Thumbnail size group box you can set your default thumbnail size for new or opened document.
Note: View settings apply to documents created or opened after closing the Preferences dialog.
