IMiS/Net
Hardware

IMiS/ARC
Linux:
a) RedHat® Distributions:
- Enterprise Linux version 3.0 AS/ES, 4.0 AS/ES, 5.x AS/ES, 6.x (all updates may be used, 32/64bit supported)

b) CentOS Distributions:
- 4.x (x86 and x86_64) - all updates may be used
- 5.x (x86 and x86_64) - all updates may be used

- SuSE Enterprise Linux 9 (all updates may be used)
- SuSE Enterprise Linux 10 (all updates may be used)
- SuSE Enterprise Linux 11 (all updates may be used)

Minimum Hardware:
- Pentium class server 1GHz

Recomended Hardware:
- Multicore Pentium class processor of higher frequency
- 2048MB or more RAM
- Fast FSB motherboards (1GHz or more)
- Volumes on RAID5 logical disks/partitions
- RAID/SAS controllers should have write-back cache feature (more than 40% increase in performance), 256MB of cache or more recommended with battery support in case of power failures
- Fast SCSI/SAS Harddrives (10k/15k RPM)
- Redundant network/power supply/cooling parts
Virtualization support:
- All virtualized products are supported which can host operating systems stated above.

IMiS/Avalanche

IMiS/Storage Connector .NET
- Any operating system capable of hosting and executing .NET Framework 2.0.50727, 3.5 or 4.0
- 256 MB RAM (.NET 2.0, 3.5) / 512 MB RAM (.NET 4.0), requirement can differ based on the extent of usage
- 5 MB (Runtime) / 650 MB (Developer Edition) disk space (installation). No requirement for persistent data store.
- active TCP/IP network (IPv4 or IPv6)

IMiS/Storage Connector JAVA
- Any operating system capable of hosting and executing JRE 1.4.2 or higher
- 64 MB RAM, requirement can differ based on the extent of usage
- 5 MB (Runtime) / 10 MB (Developer Edition) disk space (installation). No requirement for persistent data store.
- active TCP/IP network (IPv4 or IPv6)
