Server settings

Server Settings part of the preferences dialog is used to set IMiS/OCR Server specific settings. General section consists of the following settings:

Server startup: the following options set startup behaviour of IMiS/OCR server
Options:

Start minimized: check this option to start IMiS/OCR Server in minimized state. You can restore IMiS/OCR Server window through an icon located in the system tray (default: Unchecked)
Start automatically: check this option to automatically start active jobs after IMiS/OCR Server has launched (default: Unchecked)
Hide splash screen: check this option to disable About box splash on IMiS/OCR startup (default: Unchecked)

Lotus Notes Client: enter valid Notes ID password (default: empty)

Processing interval: set this interval to a number of seconds after which IMiS/OCR Server automatically checks databases of all active Notes related jobs for new OCR requests. This interval is measured in seconds from the end of the previous cycle to the next cycle. Minimum is processing interval is 5 seconds and maximum is set to 1 Day or 86400 seconds (default: 5 seconds)

Retention period: set this time period in seconds to a number of seconds after which IMiS/OCR Server automatically checks for possible orphan webservice requests and removes them from webservice request database. Minimum retention period is 60 seconds and maximum is set to 7 Days or 604800 seconds (default: 300 seconds)
