Case:

When "attach to Notes" is selected as a target storage for IMiS/Avalanche, an "Access violation exception" occures. Domino COM object in Lotus Notes Client 6.03 or higher is not compatible with previous versions of Lotus Notes Client. IBM (Lotus) announced that this bug will be solved in version 6.5.3.

Description:

We solved the problem with separate builds of IMiS/Avalanche, providing default executable that's compatible for R6.03 clients or higher.

If you are using Lotus Notes Client 6.02 or lower, then IMiSAvalanche.exe from subfolder "Lotus Notes 6.0.2 or lower" should be copied to installed folder.

There are also some other bug fixes and new features in 4.2 version:

Domino server name can be used in server selection dialog in Target settings
Rich text item name for attached documents in Target settings can be typed manually. We made that in case where RT items names can not be retrieved from form if form is saved with R6 Domino designer. This issue is on the wish list for next major release.
Not only images, but also other document types are supported when migrating to IMiS/ARC in IMiS/Avalanche.
