Language switch in IMiS/Scan or IMiS/View

Case: Sometimes you might need to switch the language of IMiS/Scan or IMiS/View. There are several ways you can achieve that.

Description:

You can default to original English version of the client by simply renaming or removing currently used client language resource library (see table below).

You can change to one of the available translation using the client path as registry string value name with the value equal to the desired client language resource library extension under the registry key "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\CodeGear\Locales" (see related article below).

Third option to switch to desired translation is with a change of regional settings.

Go to Windows Control Panel and select "Change date, time, or number formats".



Select desired regional settings.



Now run the client. Note that IMiS/Scan or IMiS/View as of version 9.10.2002 aside from default English language provides only the following translations:
