Corrupted IMiS/Client tree view icons in Windows Explorer

Case:
IMiS/Client integrates into Windows Explorer as a namespace extension and provides user a simple and intuitive interface for managing IMiS/ARChive entities and configuration. IMiS/Client tree view icons can occasionally get mixed or incorrect icons are being displayed. This is a known Windows Explorer issue linked to its icon cache. The solution for this is to rebuild the icon cache and/or increase the size limitation for the icon cache.
Description:
There are different ways you can try to fix IMiS/Client
corrupted
tree view icons:
* Delete icon cache file(s) and restart computer.
* Kill Windows Explorer process in TaskManager, delete icon cache file(s) and restart Windows Explorer process from TaskManager.
* Click Start button, launch Run and run the following command to clear the icon cache:
Windows 7:
ie4uinit.exe -ClearIconCache
Windows 10:
ie4uinit.exe -show
Icon cache location:
Windows 7:
C:\Users\<user_name>\AppData\Local\
Icon cache is one file: IconCache.db
Windows 10:
C:\Users\<user_name>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer
Icon cache are several files: iconcache*.db
You can also try to increase the size limitation for the icon cache:
* Run regedit.exe and create the "Max Cached Icons" registry string value under the following key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer
Set its value to "2048" (default value is 500, valid range is from 100 to 4096).
