IMiS/OCR Server job editing and activation

Case:

This article describes how to access Job Editor dialog if IMiS/OCR Server is processing and how to activate or deactivate a job.

Description:

A job can only be edited when IMiS/OCR Server is stopped. To stop the server running use menu command Action\Stop. Server cannot be stopped while processing, but can be asked to cancel processing with the Action\Stop OCR Process menu command. When processing is actually interrupted and stopped, server might check jobs again and start processing objects depending on the time passed since last check and Processing interval setting on Preferences dialog. If that happens, use Action\Stop OCR Process again and than use Action\Stop.

IMiS/OCR Server job activation or deactivation handled by Enabled checkbox in General section on Job Editor dialog (menu command Tools\Job Editor).

After the changes made to the job, IMiS/OCR Server can be started using menu command Action\Start.
