- Expanded input format support

IMiS/OCR Server v5 brings support for latest and new image format encodings and compression types. Currently IMiS/OCR Server supports following image formats and compressions:
- IMiS/OCR Server is now able to IMPORT OCR result file into a Rich Text field when running in advanced (database) mode
IMiS/OCR Server is now capable of importing processed files into a Lotus Notes Rich Text field. Previously it could only attach results as attachments. This import options can now be used for Full Text Indexing or 1:1 previews of scanned images.

- IMiS/OCR Server can now route results to a specific email address oppose to returning it to the sender
IMiS/OCR Server can be configured to route all result emails to a specific email address/mailbox where additional processing can be done (e.g.: billing, audit, journaling, security, etc...).

- Support for "invalid" characters in Object Description when used in advanced (database mode) with images stored on IMiS/ARChive
IMiS/OCR Server had problems when certain characters (/:\ etc) were used in Object Description for objects stored on IMiS/ARC storage server. This has now been fixed by replacing these characters with dashes.

    - Intel® Pentium III processor 800Mhz (Intel® Pentium 4 1,6GHz processor or more recommended)
    - USB support
    - 384MB RAM (512MB or more recommended)
    - 512MB disk space (1GB or more recommended)
    - Minumum IBM Lotus Notes Client version 5.0.3, Version 5.0.13 / 6.5.3 recommended (NOT SUPPORTED: Versions 6.0.x incl. 6.0.3 / 6.5.x incl. 6.5.2)
