Editing scanned documents on Domino.Doc directly from Internet Explorer or Domino.Doc Neighbourhood
Product: | IMiS/Scan, IMiS/View |
Release: | 1.95.3.xx |
Date: | 08/30/2001 |
Case:
When "Edit Document" option was selected for Domino.Doc .TIF documents, the document was checked out and opened as local file. After editing it, you had to check it in manually.
Description:
You have to install IMiS/Scan or IMiS/View version 1.95.3.xx or newer.
The setup program will ask you, if you want IMIS to be default .TIF viewer. You have to select "Yes".
Then you'll be asked, if IMiS should emulate "Domino.Doc Imaging Client". Select "Yes" here too.
The setup program will then make all the necessary changes to system registry.
Warning: If you have "Domino.Doc Imaging Client" installed, you should uninstall it before launching IMiS setup. You should not install or uninstall "Domino.Doc Imaging Client" after you made this setup in order to have this feature working.
The following changes have to be applied to "Launch Associations" in Domino.Doc Library Administration:
ODMA Format | File Extension | Application ID | Description |
Domino.Doc Imaging | lif | Domino.Doc Imaging | Domino.Doc Imaging Document |
.tif | tif | Domino.Doc Imaging | IMiS Document |
IMiS.Document | tif | Domino.Doc Imaging | IMiS Document |
IMiS.Document.PDF | pdf | Domino.Doc Imaging | IMiS Document |
*The last line is needed only in the case, you are creating .PDF files with IMiS.
*Make sure there is exactly 1 space in "Domino.Doc Imaging" Application ID value for all entries.
