Case:
IMiS/OCR Server is able to monitor Lotus Notes mail database for incoming OCR or PDF requests. An OCR or PDF request is an email with image attachment(s) and an appropriate Subject.
Description:
Subject for an OCR request can be one of the following:
IMiS OCR Server Request
IMiS OCR Server Request, <languages>
IMiS OCR Server Request, L=<languages>, O=<output-format>
where <languages> is comma delimited list of IMiS/OCR Server supported languages and <output-format> is one of the supported output format of the OCR result. For example:
IMiS OCR Server Request, English
IMiS OCR Server Request, L=English, Slovenian, O=pdf
IMiS OCR Server Request, L=Serbian (Cyrillic), Serbian (Latin)
Subject for a PDF request is:
Note that OCR or PDF request Subject is case insensitive and the word IMiS can be omitted from the Subject line.
IMiS/OCR Server processes each attachment separately and replies with a repsonse email containing results. Response email for OCR requests includes attachment(s) in the requested output format for successfuly processed and error message for failed source attachments. Response email for PDF requests includes attachment(s) in image-only PDF format for successfuly processed source attachments. Note that IMiS/OCR Server can only process supported image only attachments. Supported images, languages and output formats depend on the version of the IMiS/OCR Server underlaying OCR engine.
