"Document is already locked…" error message

Product:IMiS/mDMS Client - Android, IMiS/mDMS Client - iOS

Case: A "Document is already locked so document can not be edited" error occurred while someone opened the document in Edit mode consequently locking the document, so action execution could not be performed.


Executing the action usually involves modifying the document data which is prevented if the document is locked by another user.

If this error occurs, you need to wait for other party to close the document and release the lock. There is no indicator in the application when this happens so the best option is to reopen the document and try again.
